Risikofaktoren und Arbeitssituation von Gesundheitspersonal in der COVID-19- Epidemie

All Health Care Workers (HCW) with underlying conditions identified as risk factors for a severe COVID-19 course (e.g. cardiovascular, airway disease, diabetes) are virtually impossible to be removed from active duty during this ongoing outbreak, but their attitudes, early symptoms and disease progress are worth monitoring. We aim to implement an adapted version of the readily available WHO protocol for assessment of 2019-nCoV infection among HCW in Viennese health care settings. Furthermore, we will try to assess the workplace situation and coping strategies of health workers (medical doctors, nurses, laboratory staff) using an exploratory qualitative approach (semi-structured interviews).
