EURO-COOP

The WWTF was a partner to the European Union’s project EURO-COOP – Regional Innovation Policy Impact Assessment and Benchmarking Process: Cooperation for Sustainable Regional Innovation, which involved altogether nine European Regions. The project financed within the 6th Framework Programme was active between June 2005 and January 2008.

EURO-COOP was set up to develop an impact assessment methodology at a regional level to enable a comprehensive assessment of regional research and innovation policies against the background of highly different regions. It focused on a more qualitatively oriented perspective that allows evaluating processes, experiences and interactions and compare them across regions.
