WWTF and RTI policy

The WWTF has rapidly acquired a strong standing as a major player in Vienna’s and Austria’s funding scene. In its capacity of autonomous fund, it makes a proactive contribution to the achievements of research and innovation policy in Vienna.

A milestone of WWTF activities in 2007 was its participation in developing a Vienna Strategy for Research, Technology and Innovation. Not only was the WWTF strongly involved in preparing a number of projects to launch the RTI policy, but it also plays a key part in its implementation.
